Community Support Projects
- Bridge Day Walk for Mental Health Awareness
- This annual walk raises money to directly help local community and individuals by supporting and educating the community on mental health awareness.
- Disaster Relief
- This effort started after Hurricane Florence ravaged our community in September, 2018 and will continue for future disasters. Cathi Litcher, chair, Daniel Belvins, Bill Horstmann, Larry Earle, and Kevn Eitel all had a hand in volunteering and coordinating our Club’s effort.
- Pender County Education Partnership
- Spelling Bee fundraiser is an annual event supported by the Club and led by Dave Stipe to raise funds for Mini-Grants for teachers in the Pender County Education System.
- Elementary School Reading Program
- This program organized by Les King is for volunteers to read with an elementary school student at Topsail, Surf City of Dixon elementary schools. You must complete the Kiwanis background prior to participation.

Our members come from communities on Topsail Island, NC, and the surrounding area. Our Kiwanis club fulfills the Kiwanis mission by serving our community through Kiwanis Community Service Projects.
