The Greater Topsail Community Garden

Neighbors Feeding Neighbors

This garden is sponsored by Kiwanis Club of the Topsail Island Area and the Surf City Rotary Club to coordinate community volunteers to grow and harvest fresh produce year-round for food-insecure clients of Share the Table. Community work days will be publicized on our Facebook and Instagram pages. If you’d like to provide volunteer resources or donate funds, please get in touch with [email protected].

Founded in 2010, Share the Table is an approved 501(3)c non-profit charity organization in Pender County, NC. The organization’s mission is to respond to God’s call to nourish the community by providing food where there is hunger, a fellowship where there is loneliness, and education to end the cycle of food insecurity.

Kiwanis Service Projects

Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage approximately 150,000 service projects and raise nearly US $100 million every year for communities, families and projects. By working together, members achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone.

Our Kiwanis club focuses on changing the world by serving children, one child in our community at a time. To reach more people and have a greater service impact on their communities, many clubs sponsor a Kiwanis family club — K-Kids for primary school children; Builders Clubs for adolescents; Key Clubs for teens; Circle K clubs for university students and Aktion Clubs for adults living with disabilities.

Our members come from communities on Topsail Island, NC, and the surrounding area. Our Kiwanis club fulfills the Kiwanis mission by serving our community through Kiwanis Community Service Projects.
